Between maintenance replacements and year-to-year and model-to-model variations, I wouldn't read anything into the size or colour of the handles. I have had three RV's and none have the handles differently coloured or sized.

Brian the 3 different RV's we have owned - all grey handles were smaller then the black handle .We also look to see if that handle is attached to smaller pipe for the grey . The black handle always is attached to much larger pipe . That is how we could determine which one . Pat

One could always label the handles if there is difficulty in remembering which is which.
