Between maintenance replacements and year-to-year and model-to-model variations, I wouldn't read anything into the size or colour of the handles. I have had three RV's and none have the handles differently coloured or sized.

Then with neither tank containing significant solids, it doesn't matter - no harm done, as long as bathroom tissue hasn't been left clogging the hose.

Unless you have the insulating foam under the trailer, the pipes are easy to see so it is easy to see which pipe (and valve, and so handle) is for which tank.
