How does this work in the Escape?
I'm impressed that Casita does that. I converted my trailer to the same system. I didn't like the way ETI handled 12V grounding. Two things that I didn't like were: the running the negative cable to the frame, using 18" of frame as ground and then picking up the ground cable from the converter. I think that after I posted my mod they changed it to a continuous cable. The second was the individual ground leads from the brakes each were screwed onto the frame. I view those sorts of attachments as having the potential to corrode and progressively deteriorate over time. In the case of the brakes, one terminal could be very poor but it would be hard to detect that uneven braking was occurring.

Could you post a picture of your brake grounds. I looked under my 21 today and could only find a single ground, back by the battery. I don't have an inverter. Did I miss any?

Yours is newer and they may have changed how they do the brake grounds. It seems that they did modify the battery ground to frame, frame to converter path after I posted my mods. Or not.

My brake grounds went to ground on the frame, one for each axle. I also found a wiring connector problem that needed repair. I've run a ground cable from each ground point to a stud where all grounds connect, lug to lug, including one to the battery. You can see in the photo of the ground stud, just above, that the original hole already has rust where the screw attached one of the grounds. All connections were then coated with electrical tape.

Thanks for the pictures. I'll take a look at mine again today.
