How do you prevent absent minded people from walking thru screen door?

On our first ever shake out both SWMBO and I nearly walked into the Vista Retractable Screen Door. We really like the door. The cool thing is it's almost invisible. That's a bad thing too.
Anyone has success with an screen door appliques or something like that?

Lots of folks have stencils, paint and
Even woven designs on their screens. We have a spray painted flower. It is recognized as a screen flower by me 92% of the time and by our Brittany about 98% of the time. It's a little hard to see from the outside. The ones that are sewn in are my wife's favorite. They come as a kit I think. Somebody, which means about anybody, will know more about this than me.

Heck, I walk into it all the time. Normally it just pulls out at the bottom and goes back in without any problem. I love the door. IMHO, not shared with owners of the new models , it's much more convenient than the swing type screen door and better than the Scamp type bi-fold, although they're not bad.

I'm sure you'll end up putting something on it but it's not as delicate as you might think.

A web decoration or stabilimentum (plural: stabilimenta) is a conspicuous silk structure included in the webs of some species of orb-web spider. One idea is that they make the spider web visible and therefore animals such as birds are less likely to damage the spider’s web. Hey It seems to work for people too.

Miss Muffett

I always liked those big black and yellow garden spiders. We would catch a grasshopper and flick him into the web, the action would start and in about 30 seconds the hopper had his own permanent mummy bag. And you knew you were messin with a big wolf spider if he would attack a nickel that was dropped into his funnel. Bite they will. Boys we were.

Love that it doesn't swing out where your chair or anything else is parked...

We're going to add some art this summer. I ordered a whole new screen just in case we screw it up too badly.......

Love the screen door after already having the new doors previously . Used a nautical stencil and spray painted white , a couple places . Pat

Uh, not sure how these would work on the rolling screen door! We used simple acrylic craft paint and a simple design. There is a previous thread that includes pictures.

The paint isn't a problem at all for the rolling screen . Ours looks the same since it was applied 3 years ago . Pat

I wasn't really suggesting the screen magnets as a solution for Richard and his roll-up screen door. I was just saying broadly to the viewing audience, "Hey, check these out." I did give a specific shout-out to Laura because she has a 2017 with the hinged screen door - and she loves all things cat. Sorry if my post was misleading....

This is what we did to prevent accidentally walking into our screen door. I simply drew a pattern right onto the screen with chalk and then used a needle and embroidery thread to outline the design. Hope this is helpful.
