Hypervent alternative?
Try not to laugh, just an idea from an engineer.
Since undermattress condensation is an issue for some, and hypervent mesh is very spendy. All that consists of is a one piece open weave plastic mesh for air flow. Why not stack up a few layers of plastic mesh instead? This assumes a permanent bed.
Several layers would result in an air flow path similar to the hypervent - not like the layers would all perfectly align to constrict airflow - at a far lower price!

You can buy furnace filter material in rolls. Could work.

Tried that and it kinda smooshed into a felt type of material.......
So I added a rim around the bed platform on my 21 and will see how the mesh concept works out.

By pulling the mattress down several inches from the head outside wall and shoving it over tight against the bathroom wall I felt like the condensation problem was licked. It was below freezing several nights when I was up in Iowa but always kept a vent cracked and turned up the heat to compensate. And I also kept the door to the underside of the bed open so that it would be heated and had no problems. I still am going to look into a good dehumidifier for next year as I usually am hooked up to external power. Loren

We haven't actually had the problem, just ruminating on a prevention method. Our bed is canted with the head 4 inches higher than the foot, so away from the wall, with an open sided ramp that allows interior air underneath.

Maybe you could buy a bag of that rubber mulch on the same page and spread it around under the mattress?
Vigoro, 0.8 cu. ft. Rubber Mulch in Mocha Brown, HDVMBMN8CB at The Home Depot - Mobile
Or pay for the Hypervent. ~$100? I think on the 19 I'd really just need it on the 3 edges exposed to the trailer walls.
Regards,
Matt

The deerblock mesh is continuous and would restrict lateral air movement.

I was thinking about trimming down a slatted bed base to provide air circulation and some back support at the same time:

what about the sides, you still need air around the perimeter as well

I am very new here, just seeking options for when we place our Escape order. What is the problem with using hypervent?

No problem, in fact it is encouraged to keep moisture away from the mattress. Sometimes if the o/h fan is not on and the heat is, the sides of the trailer will get cold and feel damp, particularly in the winter. The hyper vent allows air to keep that differential down to a minimum.
