WAHOO! I survived the DMV! My Escape is officially registered, licensed, and titled! The smeared stamp was not a factor at all.
Hi: ColorockiesFan... Sometimes I think the only basis they're concerned about is the "Tax Base". As long as you pay the sales tax for your state...they don't care where or how you got the trailer.

I think you're correct. I had a pile of forms for my 19 we will pick up next month. All they asked for was the certificate of origin and a bill of sale. I put all the other forms away, wrote the check got the title and tags and left.

One of the benefits of buying new! That certificate of origin clears away lots of hurdles!
