Is this a problem? Dust Cap

Is this dent in the middle of the wheel something I should be concerned about?

Looks like just the aluminum ring that holds the dust cover.

Or maybe it's tin.

I wouldn't worry about the dent, but the thing that catches my eye is that the whole wheel bearing cover appears to be off center in relation to the center hole in the wheel rim. Is that just an optical illusion?

Looks like just aesthetics but I would take a small price of 2X4 and set it against it and tap it with a hammer to make sure it is still seated properly.

It is a easy replacement and only a few dollars if you want to change it.

It is just the cap for the EZ Lube bearing. The entire cap can be removed. Someone was just a little too aggressive in tapping it on. They are a precise fit and need to be lined up correctly and GENTLY tapped into place. Has no effect on the performance of the wheel or bearing. As to the comment about alignment. It just looks like the picture was taken at an angle so it appears off. These appear to be standard now, but I special ordered my Dexter to include the EZ-Lube bearings system.

I do not think the dent is a big deal. I believe the wheel is centered considering the lug nut faces that can be seen but I would look at the wheel from straight on to make sure it's centered on the drum and check the lug nut torque while you're at it. If it's not centered you'll have to loosen all the lugs then get the tire and wheel up off the ground and rotate it slowly as you tighten the lugs in a star pattern. Each nut a little bit at a time to jack it into true center.

Thank you for the help. It puts my mind at ease. I checked and it is centered and on tight. It just looks off because of the picture angle. Not worried about aesthetics much as long as it functions properly. Thanks all.
