leaky window

Hi everyone ..... on our emergency escape window, the bottom runner on the inside fills up with water and then overflows, getting our bedding wet. Is this a leak or condensation problem and how do I go about fixing it. Thanks for any help with this.

Hi: littleredtj...Make sure that the tracks are dust and dirt free. Make sure that the drain holes on the outside are not blocked...and make sure the trailer is level at all times. That should prevent water from collecting in the window tracks. Alf

If the inside of the window is dripping wet then it may be condensation. If the outside of the window is wet then it may be rain. I can't imagine any other water source. Either way your windows drain holes may be blocked with shop dust or window putty. Check and clear the drain holes.

Ours leaked from new it was a seal problem, Escape fixed it and it is all good now. The stocker rolls over and sticks to the windo frame. When oppened the seal goes with the window. The new one has a felt finish and doesen't stick to the window...Ta-Da...no leaks.

Thanks for your help everyone. Our Escape is a 2004, 17' plan B. We only just got this trailer in June. The trailer is on level ground. For the life of me I cannot find any drainage holes. How big are these holes? I had my reading glasses on and used a flashlight to help but still didn't see any. The windows are pretty clean, as is the track.
