That is surprising, Mary, since LEDs standard was supposed to start with the 2016 models.

Your Escape looks right at home --- at home!

Thanks, Mary. I emailed ETI to ask them which fixtures we were getting and Crystal said we're not getting the new ones, but then you did. Wondering if they have ordered for the 2016 changeover and are going ahead and putting them in. I don't want the new fixtures they are putting in from what I've seen of the bulbs they have, so may have to make a call Monday and find out.

Actually, the bulbs we bought have the numbers that Leon linked to and they are described as "warm."

Okay, I get it. Even with the long list of numbers, it has to specify "warm," I guess.

Yes, we were surprised. All I can figure (I didn't ask) is they ran out of the incandescent fixtures and don't want to reorder/deal with them anymore. But, if Crystal confirmed you're getting the incandescents, that's probably correct.

We do still need to switch out the bulb in the range hood; the one that's standard is probably not LED, and is not very bright. (Fortunately there's a light right next to it, on the underside of the overhead cabinet.)

Good luck with it!

The bulbs Leon linked to were 5000 kelvin which is daylight white. Bulb has to to be 3000 kelvin or less which is warm white. We have the complete kelvin chart over on SOI in our new solar section in the resources.

The bulbs he referred to are labeled as "warm." But you say they are not. The bulbs I am looking at buying give nothing on Kelvin so I have no way to know what they are. They say "warm" also. The ones I bought already said, "cool white." So I can only hope these others are warmer than those!
