LED light bulb on all the time
This may be a dumb question, but has anyone else had one of their LED light bulbs stay on all the time, even when the light fixture is switched off? I don't know how to open the light to remove the bulb that is on (I'm afraid I'll break the plastic cover). (If it matters, I have an Escape TA 5.0.) It just started last night at 4am. Woke me up. The light bulb is not on full blast. When I switch the switch to turn it on, it will come on full blast, but won't go back off when I turn the switch off. Haunted?

the clear plastic cover just ... slides. pull straight towards the rounded end (ie, away from the switch area).
on mine anyway.

more LED adventures...
Thank you BCNomad. I got up the nerve to fiddle with the light switches, slid both the covers off, and removed the little LED lightbulb panels inside (they slide out easily too).
However, when I slid the "good" LED lightbulb into the "bad" slot, it also glows when switched off. This means the switch is messed up (not the lightbulb). Apparently the switch is sending a juice to light up the lightbulb. I'm stumped about what to do now. (But at least I won't have light in my face in the middle of the night.) Any suggestions?

ETI will send you a new light - simple to change, or get a warranty repair (remove and replace) done at a local shop. ETI should authorize that under warranty.

I had this problem and ETI sent me a new lite. But the old light fixed itself before I got home. my guess is that there was a bit of moisture in the old switch.

solution to LED lightbulb problem
After a phone message to ETI, (just 2 hours later) Ray called back to suggest that I scrape the end of the LED lightbulb with a razor blade to remove any corrosion, and then plug it back into the fixture. Voila! It worked!
I don't know why the "good" lightbulb acted "bad", but ETI was willing to send me a new fixture. Thank goodness I don't need one.
Thanks to all for your support and suggestions! I'm glad it was an easy fix.

New on me. I had heard about flickering with a bit of corrosion but not what you described.

I had the exact same problem. Swapping another LED into the fixture did not remedy the problem so I removed it for the rest of our trip. At home, when I tried it again the fixture worked fine. The trailer has another 1.5 years warranty so I will monitor it for now.
