Neither am I. BUT, does that mean I'm safe from a similar malfunction?

Do you have one of these key codes ??
If not, we may still be potentially at risk.

Our lock mechanism was changed out by Escape after our 'locked out' expience. The new key is not on the list and I do not know what the old number was.

Hopefully we are safe now from further lock outs!
If not, I keep the screwdriver handy.

Hi: FMLNM... Thanks for posting the list of key codes. We arn't among them. We always lock the dead bolt outside with the key or inside with the lever. Never slam lock the handle lock. During all this info I serviced the latch and locks with WD40 and Dura-Lube. Hope we have averted trouble!!! Alf

I have HF 335 ( on the list ). So, what do I do now?
Haven't been locked out, but once the entire cylinder came out when I removed the key. Happened a couple times and not again.
I'm no longer using the deadlock, so do I have to do anything?

I think you can contact either Escape or Fastec. This was in the original notice:

FIC (Fastec)will notify the original equipment door and RV manufacturers and the consumers of record and instruct them on how to determine whether they have a defective lock. Consumers of record will be sent replacement cylinders with instructions, free of charge. The vehicle manufacturers will notify their consumers. The recall is expected to begin September 10, 2013. Owners may contact FIC at 1-800-837-2505.

The Fastec Industrial web site has brand new RV door locks for around $26.00.
Here in Canada the will be more.
Looks like they take 10 min. to install

We have been doing home exchanges for 15 years, and installed keypad deadbolt locks on all the outside doors of our house to eliminate the transferring of keys with exchange partners, and the possibility of locking ourselves out (at least until my short term memory totally goes south).

How feasible would it be to use a keypad deadbolt on the door of the Escape 19 we have just ordered?
