Low door

We just picked up our 5TA and what a lovely unit. Other than ducking for the door how do you all keep from banging your head. Add padding? Ideas and pics please. Lol. My wife is 5 ft so she really gets a chuckle out of me banging my head. Lol

Don't wear a ball cap while entering or exiting.

I had that problem with my Campster. I did hear of a few people who hang a rubber duck in the door to remind them.

I prefer wearing a cap as it helps protect some of the scarring on my hairless head.

My son is 6'4". I put a tension rod across the inside just lower than the door frame. I put a piece of gray pipe insulation on it. If you want something brighter, the ubiquitous pool noodle would work. You could also hang a small bright curtain, say 4-5 inches long, from the same kind of rod. It would be more visible from the outside. It won't help a bump but may be more of a warning/"heads-up" .

Excellent way to "use your noodle"?

If you want to wear a ball cap you could always get yourself a “bump cap”. It has a plastic and foam inner shell.

Might as well wear my (well-scarred) hardhat!

At 6'2" I've never bopped my noggin on the door frame, never even gave it a thought. Now that I've read this I'm sure I will.

Is actually a result of deflecting the crap coming from the likes of you in conversation.

Okay then, why the heck do I keep coming back for more.
