Making an awning window adjustable?

We have a 2015 Escape 19 which has an awning window at the foot of the bed. Currently it can be fully opened or closed - no settings in between.

We like to sleep with the window open but sometimes fully opened is too much. Has anyone figured out a way of modifying the window so that it can be partially opened?

I made a platform to hold my a/c. I think that if you removed the plastic bracket and installed a short piece of angle aluminum behind it with a hole in it you could used a pin similar to what I do.

In my use the platform tang is in tension so I didn't have to do that.

If you drilled several holes in the arm you could have several different settings.

Like Ron hinted, drilling several holes on the arm where you want the window opened and using a small metal nail or pin, you can adjust the opening. Also while you have the screen out, make sure you have a couple of drain holes drilled along the bottom of the exterior frame to allow standing water to escape. There are no weep holes, like in the other windows, in the emergency window frame.
