I have just finished building a few small shelves & shoe rack in oak for our 2018 Escape 19. Just wondering if anyone has taken on the challenge of matching the colours of DIY creations to the colour of walls and cabinets. Using a simple varnish or urethane will produce a much lighter color than what's in the unit. The existing finish has a tint with a slightly orange base.

Any thoughts/advice for a colour challenged dude?

Escape uses a spray on lacquer. I used an oil based polyurethane on red oak which matches great. No stain.
