Max Fan power
Anybody know the amp draw of the Escape provided Max Fan roof vent? My Max Fan's sticker is missing and I've checked the MaxxFan web site but can't find it.

If I remember correctly, 4 amp at maximum and 0.2 amp on minimum.

The 10 speed max air fan draws between 0.1 to 2.8 amps
at speed 1 it is 0.1 amp, 6 speed 0.9 amps, 8 speed 1.5 amps and at 10 speed 2.8 amps.
At start up it will initially draw more

There seems to be some conflicting information out there for sure. I got my info from faroutride.com
I also saw another site where they say the maximum draw was 2.5 amps
This is the info from faroutride.com
Power Consumption:
SPEED AMP
1 0.1
2 0.2
3 0.3
4 0.4
5 0.6
6 0.9
7 1.1
8 1.5
9 2.0
10 2.8

Just because I was curious I tested my fan through all 10 speeds while looking at the amps on my Doc Wattson power meter. It agrees almost exactly with the above numbers.

Thanks rubicon327
It is great to get that confirmation of actual power draws. Helps a lot when trying to determine battery life when boondocking.

No problem. Wanted to add that the values were very similar for exhaust or intake mode. Not identical, but also not enough difference to matter.
