Or a couple trips to a fast food joint for food that will eventually kill you. OR a trip to the hardware store for an 8 pack of batteries for a "flashlight" and a roll of duct, duck, tape, Right Alf?

I had considered getting one when they came out, but it would not be as practical as the one on my hip. The pliers are what I find indispensable. It is kinda cool though.

I hadn't seen one before. Yeah, not practical sums it up. Not sure what would happen if you actually tried to undo a 3/8" nut that had been tightened down. Probably the bracelet would end up with a kink or in two pieces.

And yes, I also use the pliers a lot, maybe even more than the knife.

Really helps compensate for the aging, arthritic fingers, eh?

My condolences, I didn't know you had hand problems, maybe brought on by holding a coffee cup too many hours a day.

Actually I use the wire cutters almost as much as I use the pliers. I find they work amazingly well. Sometimes I have to remind myself not to be lazy and go grab some real ones instead. They're cheaper to replace than the Leatherman.

Tools

After one of my supervisors suggested writing me up for reading too slow cause I used a magnifying glass all the time, and after I could not tie on a new fishing lure at the height of a feeding frenzy in a low light situation, I finally gave up and got some reading glasses. I had a great big magnifier at my desk, a five inch glass in the truck and about a three inch glass in my shirt pocket. I'm better now. It's hard to get old.

Getting old is easy, you just have to wait for it. Accepting its limitations is not so easy.
