Mt Shasta DMV registration for California folks

I arrived this morning at 10am and was walking out with plates at 10:35. These folks know how to get it done!

An interesting note - I had made most of my payments for my trailer earlier this year to take advantage of a good exchange rate. What I actually paid for my sweet little 17B was less than the amount at the border crossing documents on the 5th of Sept. based on the exchange rate that day. I had cancelled checks to show what I actually paid which was lower than the custom crossing assessment. They put my amount on the documents - curious if I will receive a payment due fro CA DMV...

Good Job parfsten! Our gal in Eureka did the same thing regarding the exchange rates, and taxed the 'lower' amount. A think you are good to go!
