My inverter also seems to have failed. I tried it this morning but got no line voltage out of it. I heard the fan run. I went through the troubleshooting section of the inverter's manual and reset its GFCI, but still nothing. I tried plugging in directly to the inverter in case the problem was the transfer switch, but again no luck. I'm stumped.

Boy, you are having a bad Spring, first the refrigerator and now this. I assume the EMS has been checked? BTW, what was wrong with the refer?

I dunno. The fridge started working on propane again after a day or two on 120V. At least that's good.

In addition to the other mishaps, on the first day of my trip I managed to scrape the bumper/fender of my truck when a road construction worker guided into a concrete barrier instead of around it as he intended. And today I put a gash in my forehead with the cabinet door that covers the microwave (which I can't use due to the bad inverter).

I should take it easy for a while.

We could not reset the GFCI with first tries. It has to be pushed in very deeply and you know when you do that. You probably already know that.

Thanks Cathy! I checked the GFCI again and I had indeed not reset it correctly. When I did it again using a pen I was able to get power out of the inverter but nowhere else. After resetting the main breaker behind the 12V distribution center I could get power to the all-important microwave, and after resetting the outside GFCI I could get power to the outlet on the kitchen cabinets. So all is good and I can microwave something for dinner tonight. Thanks again!

I think I must have had bad shore power at my last stop. I need to invest in a power filter of some kind. And become a better cook.
