I was getting my shopvac out to vac one of my cars, and the handiest outlet was the one on the Escape (which is plugged in), but I got no power out of that outlet?!? All breakers on the WFCO seem to be good.
Do you have to do something special to enable the curbside outside outlet? if it matters, this is a late 2014 E21.
Is that outlet a GFCI? If so did you try to reset it?
ahhh, stupid me, indeed it is (I didn't bend down far enough to see it behind the flap before). and in fact, the reset button was out, so I reset it, then I cycled the breakers on the breaker panel and THAT fixed it. so combination of things.
I believe that GFCI controls the kitchen outlet also as it should be on a GFCI circuit.
this GFCI was /in/ the outside outlet so I suspect it only monitors that outlet. but interetsing, the inside kitchen outlet SAYS gfci but I don't see any test/reset buttons on it, so maybe it /is/ slaved to the outside outlet.

Yes, that's the normal practice, both in houses and in RVs: the circuit goes to the GFCI, which then supplies the rest of the outlets on the same circuit as extensions of the two outlets on the GFCI device.
