The microwave will eliminate your "Pantry" in the 21 Escape. It is a space that is as deep as the closet below it, and you can store your dry goods and some cookware that could have been stored where the oven is. The micro only needs 1/2 of that space, the rest is wasted on venting.
With an stove/oven, you can do what the microwave performs, heating up food.

My wife and daughters tell me that fresh baked chocolate chip cookies or brownies on a cold wet day while camping are worth any inconvenience.

I dunno, beer works for me.

I'll take the beer too.

I've spent lots of days and nights (782 as of today) in my Escape 17B since April, 2011, I have to say I really miss an oven, and if my next trailer ever happens (a bed & table reversed 19) it will have one. Right now I'm trying to bake in a Dutch Oven. OK, but when dry camping a gas oven would be great!
