Paper towel holder in 21?
Ordering a 21 & wondering where to hang paper towel holder. Any good implementations to suggest?

This is a 17B, but I used a light weight stainless steel paper towel holder held in place with double sided tape. It's been there since 2008. I think you'll find it at most housewares stores.

Have used this for years. No matter where I need a towel I just grab it and take it with me. Washing windows? Cleaning up a mess? At the dinette?
There it is.

I, and others, use the Kamenstein towel holder.
On our 19 I mounted it on the side of the vent hood. On our 21, without the hood, it is mounted high on the wall next to the cooktop. There might be concern of fire, but it is quite far from the cooktop and has not been an issue.

Yup. I didn't use the screws though. Figured I'd use them if the double-sided tape didn't hold up. Now, I don't know where the screws are.

I love the Kamenstein so much that I bought one for home. Mine is mounted on the front ledge in the 15 so I can reach a paper towel from the door or the counter.

I put mine on one of the kitchen doors, inside or outside, works either way.

My wife picked this one out. Mounted it over the sink.

We use a paper towel 'stand' like this, as its mobile, we can bring it out to our picnic table when we're dining outside, or put it on the dining table inside. when we're traveling, it goes under the sink, and its default place is behind the 'stripper pole', just inside the front door, and next to the sink, so we can reach it from outside or inside.

Like others, we have the Kamenstein paper towel holder and love it (thinking about one for home). It's a ratcheted holder so, when you're moving, the towels don't unroll. It's very easy to tear off one, two ... sheets at a time. We have ours mounted above the sink, parallel to the end of the cabinet, next to the stripper pole.
We bought our sink from Wayfair and love it (Amazon has it too). It's a Houzer E100 Quartzstone https://express.google.com/u/0/produ...SABEgIc8PD_BwE. The only thing to remember is that if you opt for a deeper sink, you lose space underneath in the cabinet.

You can avoid problems with paper towels and TP unrolling if you give the roll a squeeze so that it is somewhat oval.

Paper towel holder
I installed my paper towel in the cabinet above the sink. It’s out of the way yet easily accessible. Someone else on the forum posted this location and I used this idea!

Drool! But, unfortunately, it takes someone who isn't plumbing-challenged ... HA! Actually, even though we lost some height, there's still enough room under the sink to house my baking pans, etc. But thank you for the link!

That’s the one we use and we use it exactly like you do. Must be that parallel universe thing again.

I don't understand the purpose of this holder. Why use a holder at all? Why not just have the roll of paper towels on the counter, or on the picnic table, or under the sink? What am I missing?
Thanks in advance.

1. Rolls off the unlevel picnic table and onto the ground and gets dirty.
2 Ripped apart by a hunting dog who mistakes large white object for a cotton tail
3. Gets prematurely wet when it rolls into the sink.
4. Rolls onto the floor where it can mess you up if you walk around in the dark.
I’m just dreaming this stuff up it really never ever happens.
