Thanks Folks, got some leftover 22" center drawer slides. Only need 6 or 8" so they are kind of overkill, but I do already have them.

Tom got me thinking maybe when I'm on a really rough dirt road I should have done something about my table possibly shifting about.

Since you never know, and since D-rings have been on my mind lately, I did this today. Just for good measure I also screwed one on the opposite side.

With your front leg stabilized by your modification your chances are minimized to just the one leg, but it doesn't hurt. I'm going to do the same.

True. If a 30 mile trek through the Valley of the Gods didn't dislodge my table I doubt that I have anything to worry about but.... you know it and I know it... sometimes when you want the D-ring you want the D-ring.
