I'm just curious... is this really a 12 degree from horizontal slope (which would have a 21% gradient), or a 12% grade? 12 degrees is really steep, although I realize some driveways have some wild grades.

Whether 12 degrees or 12%, I agree that using a power dolly seems dicey.
