Question about vinyl
What do people use to clean the walls an ceiling in they’re Escape? Escape manual says mild soap and water. So I guess the question is what are people using for the mild soap. Thanks.

That's all we use and have had no problem with it. Just whatever dish soap we have on hand.

We use Simple Green, because it's convenient (we have it diluted in a spray bottle) and it's not overly sudsy.

We use distilled vinegar diluted 50/50 with water in a spray bottle to clean almost everything inside the trailer, including the stove and the bathroom. No nasty chemicals, cheap, works well.

Vinegar is Acetic acid, is composed of chemicals:

So are we, the one the they should really be concerned about as it is so common is dihydrogen monoxide. Here's a website about it.

I read the article you linked , too difficult to comprehend with only one year of high school and college chemistry . Thanks for the heads up , I will add that one to the list of chemicals I avoid .

Please, only on fries and weeds. I spent a week inside a vinegar jug once (San Diego Best Western) and never quite got over it

I said “nasty chemicals”, not “chemicals”.
Acetic acid is a normal component of food items (vinegar is a food item). Simple Green, on the other hand, while far less “nasty” than many cleaning agents, up until 2013 contained 4% 2-butoxyethanol (EGBE). This was eventually removed due to concerns over toxicity (nastiness), but current formulation still contains lovely non-food ingredients such as Tetrasodium N,N-bis(carboxymethyl)-L-glutamate and Isothiazolinone mixture.
Thanks, but I’m good with my vinegar solution.

That's a great web page; I need to send that link to my relatives. Tonight I located this mild-solvent chemical in a pitcher inside my own refrigerator; I've been ingesting the stuff!
Few people realize that Starbucks puts nearly a cupful of Dihydrogen Monoxide into every cup of their coffee!!!

I believe it is safe if frozen and used to cool whiskey. At least I'm testing the safety.

Dihydrogen monoxide = two hydrogen and one oxygen = H20 = water

For shame! Ice only dulls the excellent taste of good whiskey.

Not mentioned in the article is the fact that the largest known concentration of dihydrogen monoxide is in the oceans. Surf and sail at your own risk.

I love 409 for cleaning just about everything inside the Escape. From floor to ceiling.
