Yes our 2016 Kia Sorento EX+ is rated to tow 5000lb. I can't speak for the 2017-2019 but the 2016 year any of the V6/AWD combo models towed 5000lb.

We've now done about 500km since the brakes were fixed/adjusted and our towing mileage went from about 23 litres to 14 litres per 100km. I guess in hindsight I should have known when my mileage was quite a bit higher then others with similar setups. The shop figured the rear brakes may have been on permanently. Unfortunately, given I was a noob I was non the wiser. So for future noobs, if something seems off it likely is :-)

I can say towing the last month has been a dream compared to the first 2 months. We had difficulties at times getting going from full stops, and it feels more comfortable/effortless now.

We've all been there. Really thankful for the light that says the emergency brake is still on.

Eh?

Terry is always telling me what I don't hear. Drives me crazy! I'm happy in my silent, but constantly ringing world.

Enjoy,

Perry
