Recommend route to Osoyoos from Yelm, WA

Could anyone please recommend a route to Osoyoos from Yelm, WA? Google Maps shows three possibilities and I'm just not familiar with any of those routes. We have our Escape parked on my brothers beautiful property in Yelm and we plan to leave on Monday for Osoyoos. We would like to find a nice campground to stay for a couple of days prior to the rally. Thanks!

Up 5 to Bellingham and then onto back roads (Google or Garmin will give you specifics) to Sumas. After that, it's about 35 minutes east on the Transfer Canada Hwy. We've done it three times from Olympia.

I think that will get you to Chilliwack. It's still 3 1/2 to 4 hrs on #3 to Osoyoos.

Whoops ... somehow my feeble mind read Osoyoos and translated into Chilliwack. I must be in a spawning mode and thought of the mothership. Sorry ...

From Yelm, take I-5 to Highway 18 to I-90. Just pass Cle Elum take Highway 97 to Wenatchee. Spent the night at Wenatchee at either Wenatchee Confluence State Park or Wenatchee River County Park.

The next day take Highway 97 north to Osoyoos

Thanks! That's probably the route we will take!

My suggestion is to take the North Cascades Highway (20). Lots of routes to get there; easiest is going up I-5 to near Bellingham. It's incredible; much more so than any of the other Cascade passes. A bit steep, but plenty of turn-outs with amazing views! On the other side, there are lots of places to camp, including Winthrop. Connect up with Highway 97 and go north from there. Everyone should go across this pass once in their lifetime! It's amazing.

Happy trails; see you there!

On the other hand, we will be in Wenatchee ourselves on Wednesday night, so we like that route as well. We will be at our friend's place but have stayed at Confluence and it's a nice park.

I'll be at the County Park on Sunday...

Thanks Linda! We're going to take the route to Wenatchee and probably stay at the lake. See you at the rally.
