Reliable RV service center near Portland, OR?

Hi all...we are going to have our Dometic fridge replaced, and I was wondering if anyone can recommend an RV service center near Portland that is trustworthy and reliable? I have no experience ever needing service, so I am leery of just picking one from the authorized Dometic list without some sort of reference!

Any recommendations would be much appreciated!

Dave&Kathie are currently out in their 21', but when they get back, I'm sure they've got a reference for you. I take my trailers to a small shop for propane maintenance service, etc. but not one I'd recommend for this type of work.

I'll be having mine replaced in a couple of weeks at Camping World RV in Hillsboro, Oregon; Dometic has already shipped it. I've had this store do work on my rigs before without problems.

I have no suggestion on a nearby service center, but I want to comment that your problem is a good one to have! It speaks highly of ETI that you have not needed to seek out a service center until now. And your reason now is because of a third party manufacturer issue, not ETI directly.

Thank you for the responses! Donna, do you know when Dave&Kathie will be returning by chance?

Hello,

I see that you are in Washington. We just got back from Chilliwack. We decided to have ETI replace our frig. Great service as always from Reace and his crew. He also did a few other things for us. Stayed at the Lynden KOA. Beautiful place. Poked around Chilliwack while Reace worked on the trailer. Went downtown to the bookstore and then out to the Great Blue Heron Refuge. Everything was done in 4 hours. Back to Lynden then home in the morning.
We have had friends that have had work done at Laurelhurst Distributing and have been happy. https://www.google.com/search?q=Laur...utf-8&oe=utf-8
We haven't used Rose City Restoration in several years but when we did they were great.

I see Charlie recommends the Hillsboro Camping World.

We have also had work done at Curtis and been happy with their work.

I recommend staying away from Olympic Trailers and RV Repair in Olympia, Washington. I had some tow vehicle/ trailer wiring done there and found their work to be very expensive and shoddy. I'll now have to completely redo myself.
