Replacement bearing hub snap-in cap

Have a broken snap-in bearing - hub cap.

It is one of the four here.

Searched forum for replacement, but could not find "bearing cap". Took to several auto and RV parts dealers, with no success.

Looking for a metal (aluminum or stainless steel) replacement. Any suggestions?

You might try these. It would require removing the whole center cap though.

It should fit like this, but be closer in color.

Try searching "Ez Lube center cap snap in plug". I'm fairly sure that all of them are plastic. Buy extras - as you probably know by now, they break fairly easily.

Here's an Amazon source for $1.99 but the shipping is ridiculous:

Here's another:

I called Escape years ago and got the manufacturer name and part info. I ordered 2 replacement cap-covers and the hub cover. I still have a complete set, sitting on my desk in front of me, holding a vacuum brush!

It's a commonly known fact that once you have a spare on hand, that part will never break!

Another option is to buy four new hub covers without the EZ lube cap. Got 4 new covers that are the right size for the HiSpec wheel ETI sells from Summit Racing for 21 delivered.

Or that when the original breaks you can't find the spare until you order another replacement and then the first spare magically appears.
