I agree with Jking1224. Last I checked this is the Escape tech section of the forum. You need to take community and a conversation over to the General Section. People come to this section to get and share technical information and they should not have to sort through pages of off subject posts just to read post that relates to the subject.

2014 E-21C, 320 Dometic elongated toilet info.
It is 10.5" to the base of the wall behind the toilet from the bolts. The wall slants away from the toilet, so at the seat level it is about 12" from the wall behind the toilet wall to where the bolts are mounted. At the top rear of the mounted toilet there is 3" to the wall behind the toilet. The orig. water line is about 2-3" short of connecting to the new toilet. A new longer waterline with one 90 deg. fitting is a better connection set up. Even with adding a valve it is 2" short.

Thanks! Been waiting for your answer and had to wade through stupid toilet jokes that I barely glanced at.

I'll head out to the trailer later to measure and see how they compare to what you just gave. Might ask more detailed questions, we'll see.

Dirk actually surprised me yesterday. I showed him this thread and your photo and he asked when I was going to order the toilet!!! Yep, after almost 30 years together I'm still surprised by him from time to time.

When I contacted Dometic earlier this year they told me there wasn't one (elongated, low profile) that could be replaced with what I had already. So, good to know there is one that works.

But it's OK to describe everything as a thingie, or to say "heck if I know" or "somebody will know what it is". Or, "I can't remember" and post anyway.

I didn't ask to move the joking stuff to a new topic. I just wish the forum software or Tapatalk let me flag it, make it a different color. Yes, its fun, and funny and strays waaaayyyy off topic. That's cool, like someone said, all part of the community. Maybe I need a "relevant / not relevant" flag. HaHa.

I don't understand the issue here. Why don't you just stop reading the thread if it has become irrelevant to you? There are several threads that I don't read after the original post. What am I missing here?

Yup. Fourteen posts and three of them are complaining about the forum.

So, has anyone actually installed the Dometic 310 in a 2017 or newer Escape 21? Any issues? Has anyone added a bidet attachment to the Dometic 310? We just installed a bidet attachment at the house and now really want one in our Escape - found out they are as amazing as those who have them say they are!

Reason for asking about the 310 is that apparently the Thetford has some sort of hump that makes attaching a bidet a challenge or even impossible.

Thanks Tom, I’m still researching - concerned about both fit and weight. Hope all is well with you!

Fred, We put one in the house - it’s a game changer for sure! Had heard from people who have them in the house that they are amazing, was reluctant to try because it seemed sorta weird. Not weird at all. We’ll give her a review next time we get together for a cold drink! (Sparing most of the details of course). Dave
