What were you thinking posting this? Don't you realize that if ETI starts using this molding as standard the agony this will cause on the build sheet. Personally I'm thinking lime green.

Thanks for all the great feedback. To clarify, in my case it's the exposed ends located inside the cupboards. Photo Attached - maybe.

You should be able to just get some good contact cement onto the fabric and fiberglass and stick that back up.

Do you remember back in the late 60s or early 70s, when Chevy came out with lime green and pink pickups? My grandfather had the line green one.

Years from now, some PHD candidate will be writing a thesis on the origin of "line green".

This looks just like the ceiling of my motohome. Padded ceiling panels are joined by mouldings like that with no visible fasteners. I wouldn't be at all surprised if it is the same system of mounting channel and T-moulding.

It looks fine on our motorhome's ceiling, and seems like a reasonable solution for selected situations if needed... as long as that adhesive works.

I bought a bunch of this T-Moulding from Joe Thoen at Trillium Outback here in Calgary for the Trillium 1300 I am rebuilding. It came with the track and the moulding. I adhered the track where needed with, as well as glued up loose ensolite (vinyl faced foam) with solvent based contact cement.

My 1 year old trailer is sagging in the front (roof). It's annoying and I'm trying to figure out what to do to fix it. I've contacted Escape about what kind of adhesive to use but I haven't received an answer.

sorry to hear about this....did you get the extra insulation option which I think for that year trailer is reflectex?
so this probably means the reflectex would be glued to the fiberglass and the vinyl with foam backing would be glued to the reflectex...

do you think the reflectex is unglued to the fiberglass or the vinyl with foam backing is unglued from the reflectex and is this in the area directly above the shelf in the front of the 19?

since its a 2015 it may still be under warranty which would definitely be a good thing.

I was in a unit under construction when the worker was attaching the headliner. He was using a spray contact adhesive. Don't know what brand.

When I installed a light over the dinette table I had to push a wire through from the vent. The headliner was well adhered.

Since the headliner is "captive" around the perimeter it may be difficult to re-attach it unless the detached part is near an access point like an overhead light.

I wouldn't do anything DIY. I would email and phone ETI ( not sure how you have contacted so far ). The trailer should still be under warranty and they will fix it or get a professional shop near you to fix it.

I talked to Reese and he said they would fix it but I live in SoCal and that's a long drive. He also said I could take it somewhere or even DIY it. He was supposed to let me know what adhesive to use but never heard back. I was leaning toward DIY but I think you're right, I should have a Pro do it.

Escape will reimburse you for a local repair under warranty. When I had a locksmith replace my defective lock Escape reimbursed me.

As so many of us who own Escapes have found, if something goes wrong, Escape makes it right. Why else would so many people wait up to a year to take delivery when they can locally pick up an RV on the same day? I love showing off my Escape and sharing the love.

Where is the problem area in relation to a hatch or light fixture? If it's close by I could see DIY. If not then having a shop do the work would probably be the way to go it it's an option.
