Shower curtain affix how

How is Escape now affixing the shower curtain? I am wondering what can be done to put in one that normally uses hooks but without using them.

The shower curtain is on an aluminum track that is screwed into the top of the shower. I attached photos of the track looking up, and the shower curtain on the rack from the side. This is from my Escape which was completed in late May 2015.

And, the little clips mean you can use your own shower curtain if you like - including the ones with holes for hooks. The clips just clamp on to the curtain.

That is very good! Thank you so much for the photos! Those clips do make it easy to put another one.

Shower Curtain Mod

Lindy wanted to change the shower curtain, and she wanted it to be able to extend it so that it would cover the toilet. We got some 3M command strips that are designed for the bathroom and used some the clear 3m utensil hooks to add a couple of hooks to the ceiling. Here's the result:

If buying a replacement curtain, be sure to measure from the point where the new one will hang on the hooks to the floor, or just above. We found we needed one a couple inches longer then standard to keep water from going out the bottom edge of the door opening. Ended up grafting on a short extension to the bottom of the new curtain.

Lindy says she used a standard 72" x 72" curtain and then hemmed the bottom. She also put a couple of magnets in the bottom to use as weights. If I get ambitious, I might use some vhb tape to put a couple of magnets on the bathroom wall to hold the curtain in place.

That is a great idea. I've been doing the "masking" of the toilet area, but have used suction hooks. These look smaller and certainly neater.

That looks clever, Leon. Have some VHB tape and will see what we can do with it.

I want my toilet to get wet, it is a way to clean it. I turn on the hot water and spray with the shower all around the toilet, inside and out and hose everything down the drain. I remove the wooden teak floor mat and set it out side. Turn on the fan, open window and in 30 minutes everything is all dry and squeaky clean.

Yes. It's a wet bath.

That is good for when cleaning. Many people do not want a wet bath, however, every day. There are some who will not buy small trailers because they want a dry bath. I think it is convenient to be able to clean it and run the water down the shower drain.
