Stabilizer fell off

Pulled into the storage area over slightly rough ground. Jack is lying on the ground. Attachment screws must have rusted out. Would like to upgrade to scissor jack but don't think the attachment holes will line up. Also, is it weird to have two different types of stabilizers on a trailer? (Solar Panel ready to fall off last week but that's a different post.)

A number of folks have had issues with the jack attachments. Some have found that even their new unit had one of the screws broken off. So it's possible that you only had 2 holding on the stabilizer. My previous 19 was that way. I removed 2 stabilizers yesterday and was happy to see all 3 attachments were intact.

It's nice to minimize the number of new holes that you drill in the frame. Ones that go on the transverse frame are the least important.

I don't think that it'd be oddball or a problem to have a different type of stabilizer front and rear.

We have one of the early trailers that have scissor jacks because ETI was sent them by mistake and they used them. We like them. They are welded on.
