Don't crank down on the screws like I did, the aluminum bends pretty easily.

Ann, HD sells a vinyl repair kit. I used it to fill the holes left when we went from 2 legs to 1. It's one of those things that only the one that does the repair can see the repair.

My repair is similar to that of "arniesea" above, except I used washers instead of shims. I replaced the original wood screws with longer ones on that end of the pedestal where I added the washers. The washers are between the pedestal top and the wood plank and of course the screws go through the washer holes. From looking at arniesea's photos, I think I raised the back of my table about the same amount ... it was really not level!

I'm not sure I understand the comment about the curving back wall. I know it curves/slants but that has nothing to do with the tilt of the tabletop ... it's the raised floor under my table that isn't level when the rest of the floor and the whole trailer is level. The pedestal is 90 degrees with the raised floor and the table top is(was) 90 degrees with the pedestal, but all of it tilted because the raised floor was not level. I bet other trailers are different tho maybe some are the same. When I finished adding the washers, it sure felt nice to have a level table. Interestingly, there's enough movement in the table/pedestal that my table still fits flush when it's lowered to make a bed.

You were talking about how the pedestal wasn't centered front to back. I was just suggesting that perhaps it was installed with the bed position in mind. Then in the raised position it was not centered. But perhaps I misunderstood.
