I have used these type of units for past 8 years but I also have the old style mercury unit inside the refer for calibration purposes. Any differential which does happen, I use the old style to make my adjustment to the refer, not these inexpensive units. Something like this

No manufacturer listed, Amazon, but nice enough, guess we can guess where it came from. Will last as long as it lasts.
Looks like the one I picked up awhile back. Using one in the trailer and one on spare refrigerator. Seem to be working well. Note that even though the advertising says NaCot the unit comes unlabeled like your picture.

I have used an Acurite fridge thermometer for the last 3 years & never had a problem. It has 2 sending units - one for the fridge & one for the freezer with a remote readout. I just stick the readout unit on the hood fan (has magnet on it). We got ours @ Lee Valley in Calgary, but it will be cheaper getting it in the USA or ordering it from Acurite.

A couple years ago we bought the same and have had no problem either . It works for us . Don't have to open door to read temp and lose cold . We put one in refrigerator and one in the freezer .mPat

We have the same Accurite. Works well, even when the receiver is in the house or the truck cab.

This is the unit we are currently using in our 21’. Very happy with it.

The top one is the freezer temp
Next one down is the fridge temp
Third one down is outside temp
Bottom one is inside temp

Fred, where do you keep your outdoor sensor? How is it attached? Does it stay there or come down for travel? Thanks! I just got the same one and it's ready for deployment.

It’s 83F near Wainfleet Ontario. Sunny with a light breeze. A week ago I took a picture near where I was camped in Colorado. It was cooler there

We use the 2 sensor Acurite system but I'm smitten with this unit Red Dog is using. May have to upgrade.

There's another 8 channel they have that displays 2 at a time in large text. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1, I have 2, one in the trailer, one at home. I only use 2 channels on each.

I like them, or I wouldn't own 2, the only thing is, the receiver seems to loose the transmitters easily.

In the trailer I have the outdoor transmitter zip tied to the frame under the loft of the 5.0TA, with anything other then fresh batteries the 2 don't connect. I use lithium's in the outdoor transmitter as I use the trailer mostly in the winter and they seem better in the cold.

At home I can't get much range, the specs say 100' under most conditions, I'm lucky with 30'. Wish someone made a wireless that is rock solid.
