The bathroom faucet
Should have changed the stiff shower hose awhile ago.
It was sticking out and blocking access to the sink, moved it up towards the wall more to get it out of the way. Then noticed at the faucet the part the hose screws into was moving around so I disconnected the hose and screwed the part back into place.
When we arrived at home the part was loose again so I removed it and looked down into the part and noticed it appeared to be cracked. I then removed the faucet and disassembled it. You can see the crack, there is nothing really supporting the hose connection and the plastic is thin. Ordered a hopefully better faucet to replace it. So far we have not used the shower as we try to use the campgrounds showers. So no idea how long it has been broken. But there is nothing other than the thin walled faucet part holding it so you might consider being careful moving the hose. Also ordered a flexible hose, Will keep the original shower head for now.

Great pictures of a weak product. A few have made and installed a bracket that takes some of the strain off the hose. I am sure they will post pictures.

I am would like to do that too but so far all the hose guides I've found screw into the wall. I want one that is stuck to the wall with tape if possible.

While the stock taps does work, I have used it a bunch of times, they really are not built very tough. We have had a bit of water spray show up on the side wall under the sink, but I have been unable to locate the source for sure, though really have not spent much time looking yet.
I will likely just redo the water lines and install a new vanity faucet, likely one designed for home use, and use a diverter line Ken linked to in another thread.

OK,
I've cracked that part in my Scamp and I regarded that weak spot as a ticking time bomb, so, yes, I made a bracket that supports the hose connection.

You probably have the same crack in the part shown in my picture. I pressurized the water supply and when I pulled the handle it was spraying inside the faucet housing and leaking down the wall.
If you go the external diverter route you could even have the hi arc faucet you always wanted in there. I just used a regular one.
This 40 inch stainless steel hose is perfect for it.

I would like to find 2 stick on hose guides for it, I might have to break out the 3d printer and design my own if I do not find one .

Lived with the stiff hose for a couple years then purchased a stainless new hose from Amazon this one is not heavy but very flexible about 12 . Bought the guide having had them on other RV's , we can screw it into wall having extra ply in wall . Otherwise I would use VHB tape . We use the shower a lot so also put extra holder for shower head when showering . Now need to change that awful hose on the exterior shower too . Pat

I think a normal metal bathroom tap and deverter will be in our future.

We rarely use the shower (2x in 4 years) so I removed the hose/sprayer and keep it in a gallon baggie for use when needed. Screwed a pvc cap on the faucet side to prevent accidental geysers.

The item made by Ron in BC would solve the problem completely. Perhaps he might consider making them and selling them.

I will find out when I have a look at things for sure. Not sure if I will go with a high arch spout or not, but definitely one that gives me more room for hands, especially if adding a diverter.

Ours never broke yet . A nice flexible hose doesn't put a strain on the facet . We are a 2013 .Not a lot of room in baths but it does the job . Pat

Problem with this is it is a 7" spread on holes. I believe the current bath faucet is 4".
