Same for Northern Wisconsin , never had any issues.
Out of curiosity I went out this morning , shoveled the snow away from my trailer and looked for insects. I was unable to find any sign of bugs or vermin . I've been told that they migrate South for the Winter but that maybe just BS.

If it would make the two of you feel better I could collect a few wasp nest and box them and mail them up to you. Just think of the exercise you would get as they chase you around the room.

I can even throw in some fruit rats and Cuban tree frogs if you want them. The frogs would love your bathroom if you take warm steamy showers. The serenading croaks would help to drown out the scampering of the rats.

And a jar of mosquito larvae so you can grow your own. Let them hatch , set the heat to 90+ and before you know it you'll think you were down here. Free bonus if they come with Zika.

You forgot the cockroaches! We can send y'all a bucket full of Southern Big'uns, if you want! (As in, "Those Southern cockroaches sure are some big ones!".)

Or as some call them, palmetto bugs. The pest control folks up north are on to us now. Folks down here used to ship them one when they had the contest for biggest cockroaches.

We get no bugs nor do we get rain clouds in our winter which is starting sooner than it should, had a little snow last week and expect 5-10 cm. tomorrow, at least the kids will have it fairly nice for their trick or treating tonight.

Those palmetto bugs aka cockroaches are big. Mind you spending three weeks in AL/GA during September only ever saw one.

You also get those alien looking forest with all the moss growing everywhere. As I was looking into one I was reminded of a Stephen King story called "Weeds"

I have a really nice air compressor in my shop that suddenly stopped building any air pressure. The pump would run and run, but no pressure. Checking things out, I saw where the little air intake filter had shifted (due to the vibration, I guess) and opened a little gap where bugs could crawl into the intake. I disassembled the compressor mechanism, and sure enough, a mud dauber had gotten in through the filter gap and built a mud nest that blocked the little flapper valves from sealing closed during the pumping cycle. I cleaned the mud out, re-positioned the intake filter to close the gap, and the compressor has worked fine since. But all together, that little mud dauber cost me about an hour of my life to figure out the problem and fix it. That said, he still got the worst of it in the end....

The outside dimension of my new Dometic rooftop unit is 29” x 40” x 11.5.
The Adco 3016 is 25” x 39 x 11.
I have been looking but does not appear to be made for this one.

Thanks. Ordered the second one. I believe it will work well enough and be easier to remove.
