Can someone explain to me how trailer tires differ from any other tire? It seems to me that the rear tires on a front wheel drive car experience the same road conditions as a trailer tire. Auto and truck tires often experience a much more rugged road than most of us will ever tow a trailer on usually with greater weight. I spoke with a Kal Tire owner and he seemed to believe that a trailer's tire life should exceed 5 years. He recomended a full examination of each tire prior to any road trip and recomended a good tire pressure guage and to follow the recomended psi.
