Tongue weight anomaly

Trailer is pretty much loaded.
Got out the Sherline scale ( using the jack post rather than the ball receiver ) and was surprised to get only 300 lbs. From memory, I think when I weighed it at the ball receiver it was only 10 lbs. more ). Normally, I'd be running 320 - 340 pounds.
I have full fresh water tank, but I often do. The Weber and propane and three dozen beer are all under the dinette at the front. Normally I have the BBQ and propane over the axle.
I'm not worried, but wondering.

Hmm. Did you add something heavy under the rear dinette?

A large bottle of Kahlua is all I can think of.
If I have nothing to do tomorrow morning, I'll weigh it again, at the ball receiver.

I always keep unknown weights on the ball forward of the trailer axle .
A trailer that's a little heavy in the back side has a little wiggle I its walk.
I seen one on the kok to day Coming home from Salmon Lake ( III DLR Ranch ) . Every time he went over 90k there was that wiggle ....

I didn't, but, if I did, do you move it forward to lighten tongue weight or do you move it aft to lighten tongue weight?

I recommend drinking it ASAP.

You move it back to lighten the tongue weight and forward to ADD weight.

But I like Doug's solution the best

But this is light beer we are talking about, so seems to me that you should move it forward to lighten the tongue weight.
If it were were a dark beer, I'd move it forward to increase the tongue weight and my girth.

ps. just had a PEI Island Red Ale that my daughter brought me from her travels. One good beer.

Just today, I found an Ale I kinda like, and I'm NOT an ale person.. too bitter. Widmer (love those guys!) Drop Top Amber Ale. It doesn't make my lips pucker (grapefruit) like most ales. Wonder if it's a "seasonal"?!

Drink the BEER! It doesn't count when you're figuring weights...

I like ales, especially in the heat of the day. An IPA brewed just right is refreshing, but many brewers just seem to add hops to cover the lesser taste of the brew. Lots of other good ales. Howe Sound Rail Ale Nut Brown is a good standard of ours, and is brewed not too far from baglo. Their seasonal Hefeweizen, King Heffy, is another good go to beer when it is on the shelves.

I also like stouts, lagers, pilsners, porters, and lots of other offerings.

Oh, and we usually put the beer cooler over top of the axle.
