TV antenna

A question for you TV gurus!
I have 2 TV locations, the dinette and the loft. Are they not both connected to the antenna? I have reception on the loft TV (with the antenna on), but no reception in the dinette.
If they are not both on the antenna, is there a way to change that?

Always love the ideas here!

Another TA owner with two locations may be able to tell you where the antenna splitter is located; it's too big to hide underneath the headliner. Might PM Donna D as I know her new TA has two locations similar to yours.

Were both previously receiving antenna signals? If this is the 1st. time using the dinette, could the loft TV be set up to receive "antenna" signals and the dinette set up to get "satellite" signal?
I could be way off base here, but thought it worth a shot.

I didn't get the antenna. Just wired for cable and power at both locations. If I decide to go with an antenna in the future, I'm looking at something like this (which doesn't help you Vicki, sorry)

Clearstream 2V-J3

I'll share the info from the post on FiberglassRV, because it's a Social Knowledge corp

Unbelievable RV Antenna
I just sold my 2012 Nomad with a crank up Winegard antenna. The antenna at a local campsite would at best p/u 2 stations. They were in and out not even worth watching. I sold the Nomad and bought a Scamp with no antenna so I thought I would try the "Clearstream 2V" OMG what a difference same campsite and we now get 63 channels. Every one is crystal clear and I only have it elevated less than 10'. It's worth every penney and if you would like to try one buy it from Wal-Mart as they have a 15 day return policy. If it dosen't work for you just return it but if your having issues with reception this is a winner at $68 and compact!!

Actually you should still have a splitter to service both locations with a single cable feed.

Thanks Donna!

The front has 2 coax connections, one for cable the other for the antenna with the power button. The dinette only has one coax...guessing for cable only.
It's fine if I am by myself, the loft TV moves easily from the loft "table" to the cabinet near the door.

There IS an answer to this...Rease explained it to me once.......I just forgot!
I think one is amplified antenna and one is cable. Could be your dead plug is cable only n

In re-reading my previous post, I may have been unclear. Did you 'scan' your TV to receive the antenna and/or the satellite signal?

I have tv hook up in 2 locations in my 21', rear dinette and over the night stand. I also have the Jack antenna. Each locale has one coaxial plug. The one forward also has the power button which has to be on as well as the power button on the Jack antenna. I have antenna reception then at both locations. when the power button is off (it also turns off the Jack power) I then have cable at both locales. If hooked to cable and the power button is on, nothing.

Yes, I did a scan on the rear TV also. It shows the channels available but there is no sound or audio. I will swap the two today and see if that makes any difference. Thanks everyone!
