Undercarraiage spray foam

Does the undercarriage spray give any more protection or heat or cool effect with trailier. Doing a build. Thanks

Insulation protects you from heat and cold and noise. In addition to those 3 items the foam insulation also protects the undercarriage components.

I've been able to sleep in my insulated, doublepaned, and foamed E21 until 11 or noon on 100F days without A/C when parked in direct sunlight with no shade other than the awning. i had all the windows blocked off with reflectix to keep it dark inside.

in my casita under the same conditions, I would have been sweating by 9am.

Quick answer is YES.

It absorbed the damage from a rogue 2x4 and a road gator. Chewed up the foam a bit.

Logic would say that it also holds in the heat in the winter and the cool in the summer. Without stepping from a trailer without to one with the foam I can't say for sure. I can tell you the floor is still cold when it's in the 20's or 30's, rugs take care of that.

I'll believe John that it keeps out the heat.
