Update on problems with Fastway WDH
There is a great discussion of the problems with the Fastway WDH moving around on the frame and can be found in the thread titled " Fastway E2 change from 2016"
On a recent trip I had the same problem with the L Pin getting jammed on the bar and making a loud pop and the bracket moving. I called Fastway and talked to customer support about the problem and of course it was the first time they had been made aware of the problem. However he did offer to send me 2 of the updated L Pins with the snap closure free of charge. I highly recommend that everyone switch to this new L Pin ASAP even if you do not currently have that slipping and popping issue now. A temporary fix is to put a short piece of tubing on the L Pin before it is inserted in the L bracket to hold the pin just above the bar. This got us through our trip without the fear of damaging the WDH or the frame.
