On our first trip out we forgot something to put used cooking grease in. I had put some blue DEF in the truck before we left so I poured it in the def tank, rinsed it out and had something useless to put the grease in.
Great idea, other than some for the dogs, we end up throwing away most of it. Just think you convert that diesel to a bio and you can use the grease again.

You may already know this, but DEF can be bought/dispensed at the pump at many larger truck stops. Does away with DEF jugs and the cost per gallon is about the same as actual diesel, which is generally way less than the DEF price in jugs.
Good for us we live in the stix, closest truck stop that has def is about 60 miles away. I can usually find the blue at wally world that is only a month or two old and since the wife retired from there the little 10% discount helps. I suppose we could just wait till going out os town to buy at truck stops.
