vent
Can anyone tell me what the small vent to the left of the door is (2007 17B)?
Secondly, should I be concerned that soap is coming out of it after cleaning kitchen and bathroom?
Thirdly, when I touched it the brittle vent cracked. It looks like all the vent covers are riveted, not screwed...I hope I'm wrong and that it will be an easy replacements.
Thanks!

Your grey tank vent is probably the one you mention, a picture will help so that we can find a replacement.

Thanks for that. Yes, that would make perfect sense....I had campsuds spilled all over the kitchen, so there was a lot of soap that went down the drain.
I've attached a picture...

It looks like a battery box vent cover was used. If the dimensions match then I would just drill out the rivets and then replace with new cover with stainless screws and then go around the perimeter of it with white Proflex.

It'll probably be difficult to use screws because there's probably nothing behind the fiberglass for them to bite into. If you have a rivet gun (cheap and available at any hardware store) I'd just attach the new one with rivets.

drilling rivets out and riveting on replacement with proflex for
sealing...qqq...thx fg

I replaced mine with an extended plastic one to allow the window to open behind the door, just drilled out the top part of rivet and inserted a small threaded bolt into the aluminum rivet and it created it's own thread. It held. Could not find a longer metal latch.
