Want to see an Escape 17'B
Hi all-
My wife and I live about an hour east of Sacramento CA. We're very interested in the Escape 17'. We'd but the Plan B, but would be happy looking at any 17'. We're hoping to locate an owner of one not too far from us who would like to show off theirs. Thanks - Bruce Wray

Re: Want to see an Escape 17'B
Welcome,
Call Escape and talk to Tammy, or e-mail them. I'm not in a position to speak for others and mine hasn't hatched yet! However if it had I'd be thrilled to show it off.
I can say that I, like Jeff, did a lot of research prior to making a decision. I think you would be very happy with an Escape. He still has, I think a comparison study that you can check out.

Re: Want to see an Escape 17'B
Maybe Escape is no longer paying owners a small bonus for showing their trailer, but they were doing it when I bought mine. But even if they didn't most folks like to show theirs off. It is rare that at least one person at each campground doesn't ask for a look. In fact we had a traffic jam at one gas station when a couple in a big 5th wheel blocked the pumps trying to get a look.
Because I am traveling full time if you contact Escape for a referal and they say there is no one in your area, try me as I could be "next door".

Re: Want to see an Escape 17'B
I meant in a general term that I might be in anyone's back yard, because of my travel. One day Tammy refered a possible buyer to call me for a looksee as she knew my address was in Kentucky, but I recieved the call while in Colorado. Fortunately for him I was soon returning to KY and he got his tour.
Presently I am in sunny Florida, but unfortunately right now not so warm.

Re: Want to see an Escape 17'B
Hi All,
My wife and I are hoping to see an Escape 17B also. We are in Estes Park, CO, but will be travelling to Los Angeles soon and to Iowa in another month or so. Tammy had no contacts for us in Colorado or Wyoming, so I emailed her our travel plans to see if we will be passing near one. Thought I would post here too, in case there are any willing Escape owners that are not in their database.
Thanks,
Dave F

Hi Dave,
We will be passing down I-70 in about 2 1/2 weeks after picking up our new 5.0. While not the 17B, you could see the quality of Escape. After you see that, you'll be on the phone ordering!!!!!! Not sure where Estes Park is, but if it's anywhere close to I-70 we'd be glad to show you our 5.0.

Re: Want to see an Escape 17'B
Thanks HokieEscape. We will be in California when you pass by, but I appreciate the offer. I also got a PM from a prospective 19' owner near us, taking delivery in the summer. We aren't looking to buy util after summer anyway, so I think we are good. Enjoy your new toy!
Thanks all,
Dave

Re: Want to see an Escape 17'B
Hi Dave,
Welcome to the forum.
There are Escapes in California. Have you called Tammy? Also, Jeff in Brisbane (near San Francisco) has one, a 17' that is on the market.

Re: Want to see an Escape 17'B
Hi all,
It took me a bit to find it, but perhaps it is a a presentation of Jeff's "for Sale" video.
Here's the link!
However, I have not yet found one in Alaska.
