On the way back from the Escape rally, we traveled through southern California, Nevada, and Utah with temps as high as 117 deg with the fridge working fine. We do not have Texas fans - I didn't think it was needed when we ordered and now am convinced I'm right.

I too decided against the Texas fan, trusting the new fridge to work fine. In temps of 32°C it was set at 4 outta 5 bars and held its own fine. We monitor with sensors in the fridge and freezer compartments.
FWIW, my envelope came with the standard notice with both warning labels listed, but only the sticker for awning as I do not have have the fridge fan. The form label did say "two labels enclosed" instead of "two potential labels required", but thanks to this thread I was able to figure things out.

I think this issue would be true of anyone with the Dometic 2663 fridge with the Texas fan. Certainly for those with both the 2017 21' and the 5.0 TA.

Ours works well, too. Kept the beer cold in 105 degree weather with direct sunlight on the fridge side of the trailer in AZ this summer.

I've heard similar from lots of folks Rich. Seems switching to the Americana fridges instead of the 8 series had the desired effect.

Rich is a little messed up here though, Robert. The idea is not to keep the beer cold, but keep it flowing. That taxes the cooling of the fridge, not just storing it.

True. Shouldn't be "storing" it if it's cold.
