Wedgewood range lid bumper pad story

I had to share my source for Wedgewood range lid bumper pads and the extraordinary effort this company’s staff made to fix a mistake with my order for this very small item. I ordered this small rubber bumper when it went missing from my Wedgewood range's lid. I placed the order on Amazon.com.
The small part cost under $2 and with shipping came to $5 Canadian. I payed an additional fee across the border to receive it at a US mailbox company, which is where I discovered they had shipped the wrong part. I returned home, called them and was promised they would fix it for me. After an internal email about the error was copied to me I didn’t hear anything for several days. So I called again and this time was told they would have to order the part, but I would get it and they shipped directly to me in Canada to save me the cross border fees and drive. I just received the parts (Wedgewood range lid rubber bumpers; they sent an extra one gratis). This is the note that accompanied them: “Thank you for your patience! They still had not come in, so my wife drove across the county and found them! Tim, AnyRVparts.com. I think these guys (Evan and Tim), deserve a standing ovation! AnyRVparts also goes by the name Schwalm Wholesale RV Parts (Schwalm RV Parts) I have been blown away by the service and care that ETI has given us with even small issues and now I can point to AnyRVparts as another company with stellar service.

Anyrvparts.com Serving RV'ers and Campers for over 40 years

Hey Bob

Thank you so much for the shout out. No company wants to make mistakes, but we do our best to handle with grace. Where other companies may dodge your calls or fail to resolve the issue, we see these moments as opportunities to truly wow folks with our customer service.

Schwalm is growing our team, and Evan has been a nice new addition in the sales department. Tim currently heads up our warehouse and fulfillment operations. He tries his best to write a personal note on every order he ships. I know he will be tickled to hear your praise.

And if you find yourself trying to figure out some obscure part # or model for an RV appliance, just get in touch with Wes. He is like the RainMan of RV Parts (he might be related to Dustin Hoffman- but nobody really knows).

Again, thank you for your business and sharing your experience.

Cheers

Thanks. I shared this experience because I spent a ton of time finding the part for our Escape Wedgewood Vision range’s lid. I’m probably not the only owner who lost the little rubber pad and doesn’t want the lid to scratch the range top.
Also,I had to replace the grommets for the range grate and probably could have gotten them all at the same place.
Anyway, I couldn’t believe this guy Tim getting his wife to drive across the county for the part. And his colleague Evan ensured they didn’t forget about my issue. Reace and Tammy of ETI have proved through their dealings with us that they too are these kind of people. There is so much bad news out there. It’s great that there are people out there to inspire us to do good.
