Had to duck and run a couple times, usually when I was pulling on the rope to get the hammer head back for a better toss.
I don't bother with it now that I have the Escape and the awning. Have a humungus tarp in the back shed. Must 30 X 40 or more. Had to fold it in half at one provincial park cause it was too big for the site. Comes with holes to let the wood smoke out.

No one has mentioned 120 v boot/shoe dryers. Couldn't camp without them.

And not every camping spot allows you to wrap rope around a tree. OR have a clothes line either!! (For instance, Oregon State Parks don't allow tying to trees) Have both available and you'll (probably) be golden!
Sally, I have a pair of rubber ducks in the trailer (rubber boots like Sorels). If it's wet, that's what I wear... hate cold, wet feet!

12 v- where did that zero come from. i have ducks too but if you are walking on a beach in your sneakers, or something like that, you don't need an extra pair.

Comfortable chairs. Priceless! If they are light, a bonus....
Boot warmers.. Wouldn't have thought of that
Would be great for ski boots in winter...

Sally's post reminds me... shower shoes! El cheapo flip flops for the times the shower house is clean and you don't want all the moisture in your trailer, but want to keep your toesies off the germy floor.
Shower shoes are what you wear in the public shower... NOT what you wear TO the shower house.

Very good point on the shower shoes Donna.
I hate it when I go into a public shower and the person before me has tracked dirt right into the shower.
It takes 2 pair of shoes to shower and some common curtsy.
Another item I find very helpful is a kneeling pad. The old knees do not like the hard ground any more, especially gravel. Great to put down when cranking the stabilizer jacks, getting into the side access hatch. Can also be used as a cushion on a hard bench or on a very cold bench. Use as padding when traveling for fragile items you bring along. Multi use item and very light and easy to pack.
