Where to cut?

About half of the LEDs on my refer light strip kit have burned out, and I ended up buying a 5m. roll on Amazon ($8, such a deal) to cut a replacement strip. I understand that the strip can be cut every 3 LEDs, but I've never dealt with the stuff, and am unsure as to exactly where between the clusters of three to cut. Does precision matter? Is there a certain spot in the cut zone? I've included a (somewhat fuzzy) photo, and am hoping someone can give me some advice.

Thanks in advance,
Bruce

Bruce, all the ones I have used have a cut mark. This is not real important anyway, you can see the solder/contact points on your strip, that is where you cut to splice, Exact spot does not matter lots, but you have to have the contacts left on one end to splice to, is all.

Thanks, Jim. Not like I don't have a lot of extra, in case I screw up one -- I may use 8" of the 16' I have. If this goes well, I may do a cabinet or two.
