Which OTA Antenna?

We are working our way through the build sheet and we would appreciate advice on which antenna pkg, the Winegard or the Jack antenna. We will get the cable hookup but we would like to get OTA stations also.

Hi Rick and Jill. I think another member on this forum has stated that they get more stations with the Jack antenna. We had questions on this too and ordered the Jack so we will find out what we have in a couple of weeks. Loren

I've been told the Jack gets better directional reception but have yet to use it. The only thing about it I don't care for is it sticks out the very top of the trailer, it's just waiting for a tree branch.

We have the winegard and it works ok for us. I like that it is lower profile and not as noticeable. The Jack probably does work better to bring in distance stations.

Jack is fantastic in my book. Places where I got 2-3 channels I now get 8 or more. The directional tuning lights are a huge help pointing in the right direction. Beats my prior Whine Guard (on a Casita) hands down.

I have a TV, but no antenna, since there is nothing worth watching anyway.

I would have to agree with this but is is kind of nice to catch a little local news. Especially with the crazy fire season this year. Loren

The same goes for advice from anyone who is selling anything: you pay for the product, but the advice is free and worth every penny of that (but often not much more).
