Will these wheel locks fit the 5.0TA Wheels?

We're due to pick up our trailer in April and I'm getting prepared. Does anyone know if wheel locks like these will pass thru the holes in the 5.0TA wheels?

They're cheap enough that I'm thinking of getting a couple along with some Gorilla Guard wheel locks:

These guards go around the wheel not thru the wheel. It will work.

I have one of those. It really is not of good quality at all. Anyone who knows them would realize it will easily be busted off.

If the jaws were solid along with a solid square bar it would be a a good compact one. Maybe time to blow the dust of the end Mill

So you think these trimax locks are better:

This is too funny. Yes, I have one of those too. Not much better, but I do put it on my cargo trailer at least for looks, and nobody has stolen it yet.

They do make someone at least look twice.

If you want true security, you likely should use a police type boot.

A wheel lock for $19.00? I'm guessing it could be defeated in 15 seconds or so. Please take a look at this wheel lock . . . everyone who has one highly recommends it, including myself!

Also, please look at these tongue locks.

I use this tongue lock along with the Brahama wheel lock. If someone wants to steal my trailer, they'll probably need a crane to hoist it up on a flatbed!

I am going to get some kind of lock for the coupler. However, at this point I'm waiting to get the final OK from Trademasters in Chiliwack that I can use the Andersen Ultimate hitch in my 2017 GMC Canyon short bed.

I have one of the Trimax chock locks and it looks pretty sturdy to me. How would one go about busting it off? Crowbar? Hammer? I am sure an angle grinder would work, but that'll work for anything.

It is thin steel which could bent with little effort.

Thanks. What is the tire size and do you have the Trimax TL75 or the TL65?

I have the TCL65, and it fits on the wheel, but I have to be honest that I don't think it's the best choice out there. I see three issues:

1) There is about 2" of space between the clamps. One of the ways to defeat a wheel lock is to deflate the tire and slip it out. Of the two chock locks that Trimax makes, I think the TCL75 might be a better choice as it might clamp with less space at the tips.

2) I'm not really a fan of the chock lock concept. I much prefer my rubber Fasmov chocks as they bite into the ground a lot better and hold the chock in place by sitting partly on it. I don't know this for sure, but I could see a metal chock like the TCLXX versions sliding along a smoother surface.

3) I think it might be possible to drive away (slowly) with one of the chock locks attached to the wheel. It looks like there is enough room in the wheel well to pass it after the metal chock part has been squished down from the weight of an entire trailer.

Really, the Brahma style locks are going to be the best wheel lock design. Trimax also makes a heavy duty one if you want some other options. I like these smaller wheel locks despite their weaknesses, but it's really up to you how much safety vs convenience vs money you want to put in.

Within the smaller non-lug nut protecting category, I would prefer a wheel lock with a long handle in the middle. With these you can also put the lock on the interior side facing downwards to make them really hard to pick and somewhat harder to damage.

Given how similar many of the wheel locks look from different manufactures, I think they are all selling essentially the same product with minor variations being made in a single factory somewhere. The lock mechanism may be different I suppose.
