Sorry this took so long. I had shoulder surgery which was going to take a long time to heal so I canceled my order.
when I spoke to DMV in Dothan they told me they would need the paperwork which Tammy will send everything you'll need and then they will issue a temp license you'll have 20 days to bring the trailer in for inspection then you'll get your plates. Sounded pretty painless

Marion, My wife and I live between Montgomery and Auburn, Alabama, and we are strongly considering placing an order for an Escape 21 in the near future. We've already compiled version #1 of a proposed build list. Based on the dates of previous posts, you should have your Escape by now. What did you get? How did everything go with the Alabama DMV getting the registration paperwork filed, taxes paid and license plate on your camper? Just wondering what to expect if we decide to go through with it.
